| This
page is an "at-a-glance" summary of all the configuration
parameters our customers need to manage their Internet domain
quickly and efficiently.
If you would like to see on this page further information
not currently covered, please feel free to contact the webmaster
and let him know about your views by using the contact us form here.
Email configuration :
POP3: mail.hostingstudio.net
SMTP: mail.hostingstudio.net.
USER NAME AND PASSWORD: as indicated in the Control Panel
when creating the account. The standard syntax for the login
name is usually emailaccount+domain. So, if you created
a mail "info@mydomain.com" with password "hello"
your parameters would be: login = info+mydomain.com & password = hello)
PLEASE REFER TO YOUR EMAIL SOFTWARE HELP FILES TO ACTIVATE SMTP AUTHENTICATION AND USE THE SAME USER NAME AND PASSWORD FOR POP3 INCOMING SERVER OR YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SEND YOUR MESSAGES.
Have you forgotten your email password? If you can still
have access to your Domain Control Panel you can reset
it
from in there, otherwise please
log a support ticket here.
For best anti-spam protection you may choose to activate to bounce all mispelled aliases before the @ sign as suggested in the "Default address" section in the Email Control Panel once you have logged in.
FTP connection parameters:
FTP server: ftp.yourdomain.com (or the numeric
IP indicated in your welcome email until the domain resolves
to our nameservers)
user name = as per welcome email or as per your modifications
in the Domain Control Panel.
Have you forgotten your password? Get help here.
DNS (nameservers) parameters:
As indicated in the welcome
email. Lost your welcome email? Contact our Support team.
Temporary link:
Until your domain resolves onto our servers (remember, it
may take up to 72 hours!), you can see your site with a
temporary link, in this format:
http://www.hostingstudio.net/~username
So, if your username is "joebloggs" your temporary
link would be:
http://www.hostingstudio.net/~joebloggs
Click
here for a link to Cpanel's manual on their site.
